Mornings at Cebu Business Park always carry a certain energy — early coffee runs, professionals moving with purpose, the city easing into the day. But on Feb. 26, 2025, a different kind of buzz filled the ground floor of the 2QUAD Building as Shang Properties unveiled its Pop-up Gallery in Cebu, offering a glimpse into its signature brand of refined living.
Shang Properties has long been synonymous with luxury, having been involved in property investment and development in the Philippines since 1987 and listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange in 1991. The brand is known for its emphasis on precision, quality and attention to detail — principles that continue to shape its latest venture in Cebu.
At the gallery, guests can explore Shang Properties’ latest projects, including its highly anticipated first residential development in Cebu, Shang Bauhinia Residences. While Cebu continues to attract international investors, interest in this development has been primarily local.
“Most of our buyers are locals,” said Wolfgang Krueger, executive director at Shang Properties, in an interview with SunStar Cebu on Wednesday.
To give interested buyers a closer look, the gallery features curated displays and personalized consultations, offering an early glimpse into life in a Shang development. While full model units are not yet available for viewing, the gallery provides detailed presentations that showcase the project’s design and features — from textures and lighting to the refined finishing touches that define luxury living.
The Pop-up Gallery, open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., also showcases other developments, such as Laya in Pasig City, which blends contemporary design with premium amenities, and Shang Summit, a high-rise residential landmark set to redefine Metro Manila’s skyline.
